I’ve recently discovered the beauty of cottage cheese and … protein. I used to think protein was a made up thing gym bros would just throw around when talking about fitness… but knowing I can eat something that doesn’t leave me famished a mere hour later and how important protein is for women, especially as we age to stay strong and healthy, I had to finally tap in.
I found out about cottage cheese on a recent day trip to Burlington. We stopped at Trader Joe’s for some great non-Canadian priced grocery shopping and I added the tub of low-fat cottage cheese to our cart. The next day, I woke up filled with excitement to try out a new potential breakfast staple and oh my god… I instantly fell in love. I’ve seen been adding it to pretty much anything I make and raving about it to every ear that’ll listen; which leads us to this very moment.
